The front entrance of the Cultural Center in the State Capitol Complex will
be closed again tomorrow until 6 p.m. for delivery and placement of escalators
that will be installed as part of the project to renovate the West Virginia
State Museum. Visitors to the Cultural Center will be directed to the back entrance,
which is located at the loading dock on the west side of the building.
Access to the Cultural Center’s Great Hall, West Virginia State Theater
and lobby gallery also will be restricted. The West Virginia Library Commission
and the Archives and History Library will be open.
The front entrance will be open for the Cultural Heritage Lecture Series program
by archaeologist Michael Anslinger, which is scheduled to begin at 7 p.m. in
the West Virginia State Theater.
