Cultural Center exhibition to be temporarily closed

The exhibition Dwelling in the Backcountry: Paintings by Barry Vance, currently on display at the Cultural Center in the State Capitol Complex, will be temporarily closed to the public April 5-9. The gallery where the exhibit is displayed will be used for workshops as part of the West Virginia Thespian Festival.
The exhibit will re-open on Monday, April 10, and will remain on display through April 21.
Dwelling in the Backcountry features 24 works of oil on panel which are accompanied by passages selected by the artist from literature, poetry, music and historical journals.
