Gulnara Salimova has been working for the Eastern Virginia School for the Performing Arts since 2000. She exhibits exceptional proficiency in playing for ballet classes. She is a graduate of Musical College and The University of Physical Culture in her native Russia. Ms. Salimova spent ten years as a musical director, manager and coach of a Russian Olympic sports gymnastics team. Her musical compositions were used in European Championships and the Olympic Games. From 1996 until her position with EVSPA, she was a rehearsal pianist for Atlanta Ballet Company. In June of 1998, she was invited to play for the Sixth International Ballet Competition. |
