FDR Jr. Speaks In Behalf Of Kennedy At Marlinton

Franklin D. Roosevelt Jr. was in Pocahontas County Saturday and spoke to a crowd gathered in front of the courthouse in Marlinton. Roosevelt spoke in behalf of Sen. John F. Kennedy presidential candidate on the Democratic ticket in the May 10 Primary Election. Among other things Roosevelt said he felt that Kennedy was the best qualified man for the office of president of the United States. He also stated that he felt Kennedy would win the primary in West Virginia.
