Sir having heard of the Capture of Morgan this morning & Seaing the regulars leave that was camped close to where my Boys were camped I think I will dismiss them to day I had 250 men on duty I had the river guarded at five Diferent ripels I receved notice that Jackson was advansing on Clarksburg Should we be ordered again I want you to send me some guns & amunition as I can do but little with out them I Expect you to send me 400 if posible Your in best R S Corbett Col
