Arrival of Prisoners

Forty rebel prisoners, from Kanawha county arrived yesterday by the steamer Eagle, and were committed to the Atheneum prison. Many of the men belong to the command of the rebel Col. Ferguson.:Among them are four officers, Capt. Sherry, Lieut. Counts, Lieut. Hanly, (son of the Hanly now confined in the Atheneum as a hostage for the return of Sheriff Shaw, of Putnam county), and Lieut. Pack. The latter together with two privates, escaped from the boat on the trip up.
