ARRIVAL OF THE NEW COMMANDER OF THIS DEPARTMENT
March 11, 1864
Maj. Gen. Franz Sigel arrived in this city yesterday morning on the seven o'clock train from Pittsburg. He was stopping at the M'Lure House during the day, where many of his friends visited him. We give below the General Orders relating to the command:
