The Brass Band attached to Carlin's battery came over to the city on Tuesday evening and serenaded the citizens generally. The band made very good music and attracted many people wherever it went. - It is composed of young men belonging to the battery and it is very creditable to the musical ability of the members, many of whom have had but very little practice as yet.
