We are informed that an order has been issued to disband the Greenbrier Cavalry, the reason therefore being that nearly all the members of the company have suffered so severely from camp and typhoid fevers as to unfit them for active duty.--It will be remembered that this company performed very efficient service at Laurel Hill, under the late Gen. Garnett, and to their exposure and severe labors during their campaign in that section, their present suffering from sickness may be attributed. We are glad to hear that nearly all those now fit for duty will at once attach themselves to other arms of the service for the winter, while the whole company will renew their organization early in the spring.

Capt. Ro. B. Moorman, of the Greenbrier Cavalry, who has been suffering from typhoid fever for the last two months, is slowly recovering, though, as yet, confined to his room.
