Remember...John P. Ables

Pvt. John P. Ables was born in Weston, Lewis County, to Perry E. and Mary Riddle Ables on October 10, 1925 and was killed in the Pacific Theater of Operations on October 22, 1944. Pvt. Ables served in the 133rd General Hospital Battalion. Details of his life and death are few, but information from the American Battle Monuments Commission website indicates he was interred at Ft. William McKinley in the Manila American Cemetery (Plot A, Row 3, Grave 144) in the Philippines.
