LEWISBURG, W.Va. – The West Virginia Division of Culture and History in collaboration with the West Virginia Commission on the Arts and local host Greenbrier Valley Theatre will present a grant-writing workshop from 2 - 3:30 p.m. Friday, Nov. 15, at 113 E. Washington St. in Lewisburg. The workshop is free and open to the public.
The arts staff will present a grant writing overview with program deadlines, tips and timelines for success, and procedures to be used for an application. They also will discuss new initiatives and programs to support local arts projects, changes in current guidelines affecting fiscal year 2015 applicants, and how to plan for grant success.
Arts administrators, arts educators, arts volunteers, artists and arts patrons are invited to participate in the informal session.
