CHARLESTON, W.Va. – The West Virginia Division of Culture and History (WVDCH) Arts Section seeks feedback from West Virginia artists and arts organizations on grants and services.
Artists and arts organizations from across the Mountain State are invited to assess the effectiveness of grants and other services offered through the WVDCH by taking an online survey. Artists will be asked to evaluate the availability and quality of arts programs and services in their area, while arts organizations will weigh in on the impact they have in their community. The deadline to complete the survey is Friday, July 6, at midnight.
“This inquiry into how our local artists and arts organizations view the division’s efforts in improving the arts across the Mountain State is a part of the process for renewing our partnership agreement with the National Endowment for the Arts (NEA). The NEA likes seeing quantitative data in addition to the information we’ve gathered on our listening tours,” explains Lance Schrader, WVDCH director of arts.
To take the survey(s), go to the division’s arts section website at http://www.wvculture.org/arts. For more information, contact Schrader at (304) 558-0220 or Lance.E.Schrader@wv.gov.
